You can’t exist in Los Angeles without seeing the beautiful murals across the city and as Latinx people in LA we have ties to so many of them. (My personal favorite is the one by Shepard Fairey on Grand Avenue). Further explore these beautiful ties by attending Rutkowski’s workshop in October where you’ll have the opportunity to look into the communities which feature murals and the history behind them.
